In Person Doula Support

In person Doula support consist of

  • 3 in person prenatal visits

  • 2 virtual chats

  • 2 postpartum visits

    At 36 weeks we’ll schedule a 3 to 4 hour visit where we’ll do in person support education including

  • Family education

  • Pain management

    In person support is continued during your birth experience. With a home or Birth Center Birth two, two hour postpartum support visits are included.

Get Ready For The Hospital Course

This course is dedicated to the families that wants to experience birth without a Doula physically there but still desire training on how to support the laboring person through the birthing process.

Support inludes but not limited to

  • Light settings

  • Comforting touch

  • Parents rights in the hospital

  • What roles all the people involved  in the birth setting play

Placenta Encapsulation

Among these possible benefits are:

  • Increase release of the hormone oxytocin which helps the uterus return to normal size and encourages bonding with the infant

  • Increase in CRH a stress reducing hormone

  • Decrease in postpartum depression levels

  • Restoration of iron levels in the blood

  • Increase in milk production.

Virtual Doula Support

With virtual Doula support you’re able to have customized Doula support from the comfort of your couch during COVID-19. Many families are fearful they will be unable to have Birth support in the hospital setting,

3 Gems Birth Services provides

  • 24 hour talk and text support during childbirth

  • Brainstorming and creativing a birth plan together

  • Family support

  • Hospital expectations on what their rules are during birth.

    All birth support is done online. We will have 8 virtual meetings  including labor  support.  This option is great for the family's who are having hospital births and can't have the support  "physically " in the room due to Covid 19.

Doula Talk

Doula talk is an hour and a half of virtual Doula discussion where new and up and coming Doulas can have there questions answered on how to get there Doula businesses started.

Such as

  • what goes in your Doula bag?

  • How do new Doula's find clients?

  • What can I do to be as ready as I can be for birth?  

  • What should be in a Doula contract?

  • How do I grow my Doula business?

    Community Doula

    What is a community Doula?

    A community doula is a doula who provides care to the underserved communities in their area. This care is based on peer to peer, and community support. Community doulas are from, and are an active partcipant of the same communities as their clients. Therfore your doula is able to understand the language and the culture needs of the community to build long-term support and care.
